History of Ch Larkspur's Replica of Pocono ROM
Ch Larkspur's Replica of Pocono ROM was a blue merle bitch, bred by Mr. And Mrs. B.E. Marshall. The litter, whelped March 21, 1955 by Ch Larkspur's Finalist of Pocono ex Abendruhe Carolynann's Pixie, contained three blue merle bitches. Betty Whelen took one, who became Ch Little Blue Pearl of Pocono, as a stud fee puppy, and bought the other two: Crazy Quilt of Pocono and Ch Larkspur's Replica of Pocono ROM. Crazy Quilt wound up at Kiloren Kennels, and she and two of Replica's Champion daughters were the foundation of that kennel's blue and tri lines. The lovely Ch Lakehill Portrait in Blue, a major force behind the Macdega blues, was a double great granddaughter of Crazy Quilt through her dam, while her sire was a Replica grandson. Replica produced 8 Champions for Pocono, all but 2 being by Ch Shelt-E-Ain Reflection o'Knight ROM. She is in Line CHE Part I and Family 12 Part II.
