Am/Can Ch Flair The Witness was a lightly shaded sable dog, by Ch September's Showdown x Ch Flair Peg o' My Heart. He was bred by Shirley Valo, and whelped June 30, 1976. He was line CHE Part IIb and Family 6. He earned titles in every field open to Shelties at the time he was being shown, though his only training or experience prior to 5 years of age was in the breed ring. He comes into many modern ROM pedigrees through his great granddaughter, Ch Fourwinds Go For the Gold ROM.
"Brighty" was my only Champion, but it was his intelligence and personality I remember. He lived to just past his fifteenth birthday.

As I recall, Brighty was around 12 years old when this photo was taken, the day he got the final leg on his CDX.
