To quote from the judging schedule:
"Fox Valley Saddle Club is located approximately two miles west of Randall Road on Bowes Road. From I-90, exit Randall Road south to Bowes Road, go west two miles [Saddle Club on left side]. From Route 20, exit Randall Road south to Bowes Road, to west two miles. From I-88, exit Route 31 north (watch signs for 31 north). Proceed on Route 31, take Route 38 or 64 west to Randall Road. Proceed north to Bowes Road as above."
The map with the judging schedule shows that Randall Road is on the west side of the Fox River, west of the main part of Elgin, after the toll booths if you are coming from Chicago. I-90 runs immediately northeast of Chicago-O'Hare and can easily be accessed from the airport.
Judging from my street map CD-ROM, the least confusing route from the host hotel would probably be north (right turn from Meriott Drive) on US 45/State 21 to Half Day Road. Turn right on Half Day Road and proceed east to I-94. Go south on I-94 to I-90. Proceed as from the airport. If someone familiar with the area can provide better directions, please do so.
