Ch Ashbank Fairy was selected and purchased by Mrs Dreer of Anahassitt Kennels, and registered in the US in 1930. She was a sable bitch, whelped October 24, 1927 and bred by G. Clark in England. She earned a CC in Great Britain, and left descendants there to influence the modern English Sheltie. Her main impact, however, has been in the United States, where she has more influence on modern ROM pedigrees than any other imported bitch. She is closely related to Ch Wee Laird o'Downfield, being by the same sire (Eng Ch Blaeberry of Clerwood) and out of Ashbank Sheila (a full sister of the Wee Laird's dam, Downfield Ethne). She is in Line CHE and Family 2, and in the US heads up Parts III, IV, and V of that Family.

Producing Record of Ch Ashbank Fairy
