Ch Tess's Trump Card of Wadmalaw was a sable dog bred by Ruth D. Jury, by Ch Timberidge Target out of Titian Tess of Wadmalaw. He was whelped June 17, 1959, and won Best of Breed at the ASSA National in 1963. He is Line CHE Part IIc and Family 6.
His most important offspring was a bitch, Ch Diamond's Black Velvet, who became the dam of 4 Champions including the ROM sire, Ch Diamnod's Robert Bruce ROM, and Ch Diamond's Redbud, tail male to Ch Chenterra Thunderation ROM.
This dog was the first ASSA BB in the subbranch of CHE Part II descended from A/C Ch Nashcrest Golden Note ROM, which overwhelmingly dominates the current Championship lines and makes up CHE Parts IIc, IId (via Serenade), IIe (via Peter) and IIf (via Sportin' Life) today,
