History of Ch Diamond's Lady Goldmount

Ch Diamond's Lady Goldmont was a sable bitch, bred by Barbara J. Byrd and whelped July 17, 1957. She was by Am/Can Ch Geronimo Son Rey Am/Mex CD ex Ch Geronimo Diamond Lil. The breeding combined two of the Ch Timberidge Temptation ROM-Ch Sheltieland Shasta Geronimo ROM offspring with two offspring of Ch Mountaineer o'Page's Hill ROM, one of them inbred as Mountain Flower was herself a Mountaineer daughter. This makes Lady Goldmont 1/4 Temptation and 7/16 Mountaineer. Lady Goldmount produced 4 Champions including Ch Diamond's Black Velvet, the latter also producing 4 Champions including Ch Diamond's Robert Bruce ROM. Lady Goldmont is Line CHE Part IIb and Family 2 Part V.
