History

Keep Goin' ROM was bred by Mr. R. Braithwaite from his imported bitch, Glenisla Elegance, mated to Ch Bodachan of Clerwood. According to Catherine Coleman's book, the same litter produced Ch Nielsland Nuffsaid and Nielsland Nymph, the latter described by Miss Coleman as "about the best of her size ever seen." Keep Goin' ROM was a tricolor bitch, whelped July 16, 1933, dam of 5 Champions, owned by Mike Kennedy. She carries on in a minor way through three children and four grandchildren tracing to Ch Larkspur's Replica of Pocono ROM and Ch Kawartha's Sabrina Fair ROM. Keep Goin' ROM is the only American top producer of either sex to be in Line BB (through Bodachan) and is also the only ROM bitch in Family 1 (Glenisla Elegance).
