Ch Brandell's Break-A-Way II ROM

Brandell's Break-A-Way II ROM was bred by Josephine Brandell and owned by Page's Hill. He was a sable dog, whelped December 6, 1952, by Ch Brandell's Bric-A-Brac II ex Brandell's Bettina of Tobruk. He won Best of Breed at the 1957 ASSA National, and sired 12 Champions, including one ROM. His bloodlines were a decided outcross by the standards of Page's Hill, where most of the dogs were tightly linebred on Ch Wee Laird o'Downfield and his son Ch Mowgli ROM. While Break-A-Way's paternal grandmother was mostly Page's Hill and the E-Danha strain was about a quarter Ch Mountaineer o'Page's Hill ROM, much of the rest of his pedigree was based on Pocono bloodlines. He is Line CHE Part I and Family 5 Part I.
