Family 13 (Active in England, no female imports behind US ROMs
but one tail female to an ASSA BB winner.
There is a question in the early part of this line. The English Gazette
(January 1914) shows Lady Bretta as out of Mr. A. Irvine's Juga, not
Inga, with Juga being shown as unregistered. There is a "traditional"
pedigree for Juga which shows her as by Lewiswick Prince ex Spider.
The November 1909 Gazette does show a bitch named Inga, owned by
Mr. Irvine, sired by Poudie's Sharp ex Smith's Fanny, whelped September
29, 1908. Miss Osborne and Miss Rogers, who created and maintained
the English charts, originally used this pedigree, with Inga shown as
the dam of Lady Bretta and Fanny as the dam of Inga. In the 1985
update of the charts, Inga's dam is shown as Pansy and her granddam
is shown as Poppy, and the identification still continues in the English
charts today.
